The Chris Pine Network is 3 years old today!!

I don’t have anything special to post in honor of this awesome achievement but I do want to thank each and everyone of you who continue to visit the website. If not for you guys running this site would be absolutely no fun at all and I really do appreciate those who take the time to leave a comment here and there.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support and kindness you all have shown me in the 3 years I have been running The Chris Pine Network, it has not gone unnoticed.

I, however will be posting better Carriers captures soon, just as soon as I find the time to upload them so stay tuned for that. Again, I can’t say thank you enough guys, truly. <3

I want to apologize for not updating with the latest photos of Chris out at a few events this past week. I’ve been busy and sort of unmotivated to keep up my websites lately but I promise to catch up soon as soon as I can get my new computer fully set up. I’m adjusting to Windows 7 and transferring all my files so it may be this weekend, but I promise guys!

Phew! After 2 long months of first creating this design and coding it in my spare time I have finally, finally! Gotten around to putting this baby up. I’m so happy to have it finally up and going as I’m a huge fan of this design myself and I find the set up is more sophisticated and easier to browse than the last design. Those of you who are a stickler for detail might notice the banner changes between two of his GQ ‘Man of the Year’ photos

Don’t worry if things look weird!

I wanted to make sure no one freaks out if they see things looking a little wonky on the site in the next few days. I’ve been working on a new design for a month now and it’s almost ready to be put up but the last thing that needs to be changed is the sidebar and it will effect the design currently in use significantly so I wanted to let everyone know that yes I’m aware and it should all look as it should shortly.

Also I will be doing a huge make over on the forum come the new year, so for those of you who have joined and have yet to be approved just sit tight and you’ll be able to join the new forum. Yes, I said new forum. I’ll be installing a new forum script for various reasons and therefore allowing for a more friendly (not that friendliness is our issue) and user friendly environment for us Pine Nuts!

So sight tight and keep your eyes peeled.

For those living under rocks and not paying any attention well listen up! Today, August 26th is our boy Chris’s 29th birthday! Yes, yes it is! I’m at a loss for words and really the only thing I can do is hope you have a amazing birthday with your family and friends. Happy Birthday Chris!

Why is there no updates?

Hey guys! I wanted to apologize for no updates the past week. I’ve been busy, as you can all assume but also my birthday is this Sunday and I’ve been out with friends and going to others birthday parties etc. So what time I have had to post I’m too exhausted or sadly it’s storming and when it storms I don’t take the chance of my computer being electrocuted ( again ) so I always turn it off.

Anyhow I’ll have updates sometime next week, I promise! You can expect “The Guardian” captures and hopefully if all goes right video too. Video from Chris’s brief role on “Six Feet Under” as well as Bottle Shock movie captures once I have the chance to cap the movie.

Also! Anyone watching the Teen Choice Awards this Monday if perhaps you can catch Chris if he happens to pop up or actually win that would be amazing. I won’t have the opportunity to watch it myself as I have prior engagements that night.

Thanks for being so amazing and patient.

So I’m sure many of you have noticed the slow updates and very much lack of, that’s for sure, right? Well if anyone has paid attention than you’ve known I’ve been working my pretty little tush off trying to get the new design finished. As it turns out the version you see now is not what I had originally created. I’m a very picky graphic designer and well I want nothing but the best for my site and sure I liked what I created at first but as I was coding it I realized how tired I quickly became of it. So what you see now is the 2nd attempt at the design which I altered completely. It took what seems like forever to me but was probably about 2 weeks or so to finally get this straightened out and satisfy my perfectionist self.

I hope everyone approves and loves the design as much as I do, though as you know I’m slightly biased. I would love to hear all feedback, good or bad, though bad is bad it’s nice to hear constructive criticism. I really hope this design is able to last a good bit because I love the set up personally so if things get stale don’t be surprised if you see this same design get switched up a little in the future.

I’ve also taken the time to give the Image Archive a very much needed make over which as you can see matches the new site design as well. And last but not least for all you loyal forum posters the forum will be back sometime tomorrow ( July 25th ) as I’m really wanting to get a new theme over there too.

Anyhow look at me go and all this for a new website design! haha! Well expect all new updates coming shortly.

I know the site has been a little quiet here lately and I want to apologize for that. I myself have been busy and haven’t had much time to be on the computer this past week but I’m going to be making some time later this week to get a few updates posted. I will be posting the June ’09 GQ Magazine scans of Chris’s fashion spread along with a People Magazine scan as well thanks to Jas.

I will also still be posting Blind Dating captures as mentioned on our Twitter over the weekend. I also have a super awesome exclusive as well so you’ll have to stay tuned for that. Expect some awesome updates to come as well as catching up on ones I missed.

A few of you were aware I was planning on adding some new icons as soon as I had the time to finish them. Obviously I had the time and I’m super happy with them, so I hope you all like them. I made quite a few…102 to be exact…lol!

I’ve been working my tush off all week to get this new design done in all the spare moments I had, and thankfully I was able to finish it. I thought it would be a nice change to jump into a darker color scheme as I’ve kept a similar color scheme on the site for many versions.

Feel free to drop a comment and tell me what you think, actually I want you to, feedback is always nice to have whether good or bad.

If there are any errors or you come across something that is acting wonky or doesn’t work at all than please email me through the contact form and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Chris Pine Network: Video Archive ( NOW OPEN! )

I’ve been hard at work the past week and ahalf in hopes of getting up the exclusive Chris Pine Network “Video Archive” sub-site which has been in the works since the beginning but never quite made it over the finish line. It only has a little over 30+ videos upload thus far but, I’m still hard at work collecting older interviews and past television appearances as well as dvd special features and so forth. All of this will be added in due time of course, patience will be kind to you my Pineactics…Okay that was weird. If you have a better name for us Chris Pine fans, feel free to tell me!

I’d love to know what you all think of the new site addition, and don’t hesitate to share suggestions with me of what you would like to see on the site in the future because you guys are my key audience, so your satisfaction is something I care about.

In the meantime I’ve been lazy and because of working on the Video Archive among other things so, I want you all to stay tuned throughout the rest of today as I upload captures to the new videos along with post the streaming video along with them.

Chris at Oscars pre-party, Star Trek press conference plus more

Due to my now old host I had to move all my websites on my server to a new host, long story really but the point is the site is now moved and I’m catching back up on the updates that were lost in the move.

Anyhow I’ve added back the photos that I had previously before this whole fiasco, so with that being said let’s get to it shall we? Okay I’ve added 56 photos of Chris attending the 6th Annual Pre-Oscar Party on February 19th, 45 Now 56 photos of Chris along side Star Trek co-star and director Zoe Saldana and JJ Abrams while at the Star Trek: The Beginning press conference in Seoul, South Korea from February 25th and lastly 4 photos of Chris again with Star Trek co-star and director Zoe Saldana and JJ Abrams in a photo call for the aforementioned press conference.

Hey guys! First of all I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates on my part. I’ve had a week long of computer issues as well as the ever going problem of there not being much to update about etc, but that is not the case now. I have a good amount of photos to upload including a new photoshoot of Chris taken last year, but I’ve also got some news to post here shortly as well.

New Star Trek Trailer for Super Bowl

I know I’ve disappeared from making any new updates, but I’ve been really busy here lately. Don’t fret I’m hoping to re-design the News Center and catch up on the rest of my updates.

I just wanted to let everyone know in the coming days though I’m not sure when other than it will be sometime this week I will be posting the screen captures, video download and event photos of Chris at last night’s 66th Golden Globe Awards.

I’m running around so much lately I’m lucky I can keep my head on straight but atleast waiting to post everything will give me enough time to gather all of those event photos that tend to surface even days later
