Entertainment Weekly has published today an alternate version of that Wonder Woman boat scene that follows Gadot’s Diana and Chris Pine’s Steve Trevor as they sail from Themyscira to England.

Chris has talked earlier this year about this scene:

“She has to be the straight woman, that’s the hardest part,” he said. “She’s delivering lines like ‘My father is Zeus’ — s— that is just so ridiculous. And she has to say it with a straight face, with a certain amount of innocence and earnestness. I get to react like any human being would to hearing something as ridiculous as that. So I had it easy.”

Wonder Woman is available for digital download now and will be released Tuesday (September 19) on Blu-ray and DVD.

Netflix has released a first look photo of Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce in the upcoming period drama Outlaw King, as principal photography gets underway in the UK.

With Tony Curran (Sons of Anarchy) and Stephen Dillane (Game of Thrones) now among the cast, the film reunites director David Mackenzie with Pine following the Academy Award nominated Hell or High Water.

Also starring are Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Florence Pugh, and Billy Howle. The feature film is produced by David Mackenzie and Gillian Berrie via their production company Sigma Films, and Richard Brown and Steve Golin of Anonymous Content.

The screenplay was written by Mackenzie, Bash Doran, James MacInnes, Mark Bomback and Scottish playwright David Harrower.

The action takes place over the extraordinary historic year when Robert the Bruce fights to regain control after being crowned King of Scots, only to be defeated in a surprise attack and made an outlaw by the English King and his occupying forces.

Supported by Creative Scotland, shooting will take place in historical locations in Scotland including the last known resting place of the legendary Scottish king’s remains.

The film is slated for release in 2018.

Empire published today that Chris is leading a new Hulu series, based on Larry Tye’s biography, Bobby Kennedy: The Making Of A Liberal Icon. Chris is set to play Robert (Bobby) Kennedy, and there’s yet no timeline – or title – for the project yet.

US streaming service Hulu did well out of the life – well, the assassination, at least – of JFK in 11.22.63. Now the online network is focusing on another member of the clan, Robert F. Kennedy, with Chris Pine landing the main role.

Todd E. Kessler, who has worked on shows such as The Good Wife, is overseeing the new series, which has yet to land on a title. He’ll adapt Larry Tye’s biography of the man, Bobby Kennedy: The Making Of A Liberal Icon, which hit shelves in 2016. It paints a picture of him as a bare-knuckle operative, a White House Insider and a romantic visionary, so it sounds like he’ll come off well in the show.

There’s no timeline for the series yet, but given that it has a leading man – he’ll be squeezing the work in between film projects because it’s planned as a miniseries. Talking of his cine-gigs, the actor will next be seen in A Wrinkle In Time (due 23 March) and is shooting Outlaw King with his Hell Or High Water director David Mackenzie.

Hail to the King! Chris was spot earlier today in Scotland filming scenes for the upcoming Outlaw King. He was seen riding a horse along a cliff top next Scottish actor James Cosmo. They also introduced the photographers a very nice finger salute! Check pictures in our gallery:
