Hello! It’s been a while since I have updated here and I’m deeply sorry for that, life has been very busy. Chris has been a little busy and has attended two events: CCXP in Brazil on December 04th, to promote his new movie “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” alongside his cast mates (which I had the honor to attend and it’s surreal to remember this moment!) and a Brunnello Cuccinelli dinner party on December 08th in Los Angeles. Hello! Amazing news, Chris’ directorial Debut “Poolman” got a UK Deal! The news were reported exclusively by Deadline and you can read more about it bellow:

EXCLUSIVE: Signature Entertainment has acquired UK and Irish rights to Chris Pine’s directorial debut Poolman from AGC Studios.

The film is led by Star Trek actor Pine and also stars Annette Bening (American Beauty), Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), DeWanda Wise (Jurassic World: Dominion), Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), and Ray Wise (Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me).

Poolman follows Darren Barrenman (Pine) as a lackadaisical pool boy cleaning the Tahitian Tiki apartment block pool and gate-crashing city council meetings with neighborhood friends Jack and Diane (DeVito, Bening). However, after discovering plans to rob Los Angeles of its water, Bannerman becomes a bohemian detective traversing L.A.’s celebrity and criminal underworlds, taking it upon himself to become the city’s savior.

The mystery-comedy, produced by Ian Gotler (Doula), Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), Stacey Sher (Django Unchained), and Pine (Star Trek), is directed by Pine who co-wrote with Gotler.

The deal with AGC Studios was negotiated with Signature Entertainment’s Director of Acquisitions and Development Elizabeth Williams.

Williams said: “We are honored to be releasing the brilliant Chris Pine’s directorial debut Poolman, a truly original comedy that will charm, engross and surprise UK audiences.”

Chris is the cover star of The Rake Magazine October issue! This cover is in the works for 3 years but got delayed because of the pandemic but it’s finally here! Chris was photographed by Kurt Iswarienko and the results are amazing.

Chris attended on Saturday (October 08th) the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. He and his father, Robert Pine, were the hosts of the biennial event that “pays tribute to courageous children and the exceptional physicians, researchers, and caregivers who change lives through the spark of discovery and the healing power of compassion”. Hello! I’ve made a huge update in our gallery with missing production stills, posters, screen captures from different movies such as Don’t Worry Darling (Chris newest movie that is set to release on September 23rd), Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Wonder Woman 1984, All the Old Knives, and many more. I’ve also added missing photoshoot and portraits from TIFF in 2018 and new ones from this year’s Venice Film Festival.

Hello, Chris Pine Network is finally back! My name is Bella and I’ll be updating the site from now on. I’ve been a fan of Chris since literally 2004 and couldn’t be happier to take over the site. Our gallery has some events and movie related stuff missing but I’ll be updating it in the next couple of weeks.

For now, I’ve updated the gallery with pictures of Chris attending the Venice Film Festival for his upcoming movie “Don’t Worry Darling” alongside his cast mates and the director, Olivia Wilde. The movie will release on theaters on September 23rd.
