I was recently contacted by the young but very talented Gabe Eggerling, whom is a voice actor. He had the chance to meet with Chris at the April 15th 3rd Annual Milk And Bookies Story Time Celebration event. He had nothing but great things to say about Chris, and wanted me to share his photo with all of you.

I’m an 8 yr old voice over actor (official voice of Schroeder/Peanuts) and had the coolest time hangin’ with Chris yesterday at the Milk and Bookies event talking about how to get the kids attention when reading storybooks.

You can find out a little more about Gabriel under the cut. 🙂

Here’s a unique definition of a superhero from a young philanthropist… Mission Code: HERO: Helping Everyone Read Out loud.

It all started with a made-from-scratch cape and mask at the age of 3, which led to a photograph, then a Warner Brothers movie set. Now 8 years old, Gabriele Eggerling is taking his accomplished acting chops and voice over experience to story tell to kids in schools around Southern California. He is motivating kids to see the fun in reading through handmade puppets and silly voices. Earlier this year, he joined forces with the nonprofit Milk + Bookies to host a “You can be a Superhero Too” party. Dress up as a superhero, bring a book to donate to disadvantaged children and feel great for giving! All donations benefitted CHOC Children’s and to help build a library for the children in Borja, Peru. This past Sunday, Gabriele attended and was honored at the 3rd annual Milk + Bookies star studded fundraiser with his own poster and quotes about the importance of reading displayed for all to see in the Reading Room. Moreover, he had a chance to talk with actor Chris Pine about using voices to engage a young audience.

Gabriele has received recognition for his work as the youngest member of the SAG Foundation’s Children’s Literary Initiative, BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literary in Schools). He will join Michelle Obama and Goldie Hawn in 100makingadifference. A segment of the documentary “Heroes Don’t Wear Capes” follows Gabriele’s work and will be released Summer 2012. You can listen for his voice as the voice cast of Peanuts Schroeder in several projects this year.

Details of future events and how to participate can be followed at gabesays.net. Photos, resume and more stories are available upon request. I look forward to working with you to set up an interview with this captivating and charming young man
