Together, they plan a series of heists against the bank that’s about to foreclose on their family ranch. Standing in their way is Marcus, a Texas Ranger who’s only weeks away from retirement.
Hell and High Water premiered at the Un Certain Regard section of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and was theatrically released in the United States on August 12, 2016. It received four Oscar nominations at the 89th Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Jeff Bridges), Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing.
Hell or high water was by far best picture last year. Not only was it the best movie I’ve seen last year but many years. Great screenplay amazing cast .
